In the meantime the waste water treatment industry has developed into one of the most important areas with complex mechanical, biological and chemical processes. In this respect Helix progressive cavity pumps and macerators are used in almost all processes.
The sewage is fed into a waste water treatment plant for cleaning. After the cleaning process the treated water is fed back into the ecological cycle. Following the dewatering of the treated sludge, it is disposed of in
landfills or further recycled in drying systems, incineration ovens or in agriculture. The requirements that apply to the water and sludge quality are conditional on the local conditions and specific country regulations. However, the regulations are increasingly becoming more stringent and being matched at an international level. To satisfy the high demands regarding neutralisation and filtration, the reduction in organic pollutants and the nitrogen - phosphate elimination, waste water treatment plants are constantly being adjusted in line with current standards.

Salient Features:
All metallic parts in contact with the
fluid are in smooth finish stainless steel
Stator is of non-contaminating polymer
which is resistant to oils and fat
All internal contours are designed to
be swept by the product flow or by a detergent when “in-line” cleaning
Elimination of product retaining
pockets avoids chemical or bacteriological contamination
Simple construction allows quick
dismantling
Can work against high vacuum. Ideal for
lifting viscous fluids from the vacuum pan.
Low fluid velocities ensures gentle
handling of shear sensitive fluids without damage
Pulsation, turbulence or aeration-free
metered flow proportional to speed
Capacity varied simple variation of
pump speed to match system parameters
